Christmas is all about hope. Indeed it is the representation of the spiritual birth of hope which many chose to celebrate and renew each year. The rest for me is cultural traditions and rituals all of which are important though at times it may distract us from the primary principal of hope. The Christmas story itself is a reminder that the greatest hope can begin with the humblest of actions, birth. All of us having been born we are imbued with the ability and the responsibility to carry a message of hope. It is only in doing so that we become all that we are, what we were born to do. How anyone chooses to do this is less important then making a decision to try to, for that is where the miracle happens.
Allow me to do more then simply recognize the presences of darkness, kindle within me the flame of hope, for even the smallest of lights can pierce the darkness..
